Ralph Legnini (a/k/a E Boy) is a music artist / songwriter / producer / engineer based in Woodstock, New York. His studio career began as a member of Nile Rodgers Productions team - working in the control room with Nile on records being produced for Madonna, David Bowie, Jeff Beck and Mick Jagger, followed by a move to Woodstock, NY to become Todd Rundgren's studio manager and eventually Production & Studio Manager for Rundgren's Alchemedia Productions & Utopia Studio. 

He worked day to day with Todd on TV / film soundtracks, music videos, and records produced for XTC, Psychedelic Furs, Meatloaf, Jill Sobule, Jules Shear, Cheap Trick, Paul Shaffer, solo Todd records, and those by Rundgren's band, Utopia. 

As a studio musician, Legnini has recorded with Jules Shear, Tin Huey, Rick Danko, James Taylor, Todd Rundgren, Pete Seeger, Chip Taylor, Danielia Cotton, Dr. John, Mick Ronson, Jill Sobule, John Sebastian, Levon Helm and Kate Pierson. 

He has continuously been involve with using music for charitable endeavors, an example of which is envisioning and creating a record entitled 'Somewhere Else', with a variety of musical performances from a diversity of artists, including Grammy winners, Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer's, music icons, and many top session players that he has worked with over the years. He pulled together a roster that includes Levon Helm of The Band, Dr. John, Laurel Massé of Manhattan Transfer, Kate Pierson of the B-52's, Todd Rundgren, John Sebastian of The Lovin' Spoonful, Dennis Mackrel (Count Basie Orchestra, Tony Bennett), Gail Ann Dorsey (Gwen Stefani & David Bowie), Sara Lee (Indigo Girls & Ani DeFranco), Jules Shear, Amy Helm, Scott Heally (Conan O'Brien Band), Jay Collins (Levon Helm Band, Gregg Allman Band), Zachary Alford (Bruce Springsteen, Gwen Stefani), Bruce Katz (Gregg Allman Band), Jay Ungar, John Ashton of the Psychedelic Furs, Sham Morris & Molly Farley (The Mick Ronson Band), Frank Campbell & Randy Ciarlante (rhythm section from The Band), Ralph Carney (Tin Huey, Tom Waits), and Rob Sabino (Chic, Sister Sledge, Paul Simon, Madonna). 

'Somewhere Else' was often one of Amazon.com's biggest daily sellers peaking at #4 of all CD titles available. Legnini produced this record to help a young visionary with cancer, Killian Mansfield, raise proceeds to help other children through his Killian Mansfield Foundation. 

Legnini's TV / film credits as a music composer include music producer on Saturday Night Live, composer of the soundtrack for the award winning short 'The Real New York', and scoring the acclaimed HBO children's series 'Encyclopedia' for the folks at Sesame Street. E Boy collaborated with hit songwriter Chip Taylor (Wild Thing, Angel Of The Morning) co-writing ten songs and the score for Never Too Young To Die starring Gene Simmons of Kiss. 

Legnini as a recording artist wrote and produced a unique record for kids with Tom Waits' multi-instrumentalist horn man, Ralph Carney. Together they are called Ralph & Ralph, and their initial release 'Opposites' is available on Leg Knee Knee Records. 

After years of being in the studio every day with legendary producers Nile Rodgers & Todd Rundgren, Legnini / E Boy Music is currently involved in creating music that helps make the world a more positive place to be.
